The Marine Electro Technical Officer Course (As per STCW 2010) (Without Highvoltage) is a 16-17 weeks residential programme. Successful candidates will be given DGS Approved Course Completion certificate, INDOS No., STCW Course Certificates and Indian CDC
Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with minimum 60% and English as separate subjects with minimum 50% marks in English Language in 10th or 12th standard exam.
Passed three year's Diploma with 60% marks or four year's Degree including lateral entry, with 50% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.
The diploma/degree courses must have been recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
Duration: 16-17 weeks. 6-8 months on-board training arrangement will be provided as placement assistance for deserving students.
Age limit: Below 35 years.
Medical standard: Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with no colour blindness.
